CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT

JOB SUMMARY:

The Change Management Consultant will be responsible for the implementation of the Local Government Reform Initiative in the Ministry.  The incumbent will provide change and Programme Management expertise in support of organisation-wide business transformation, process re-engineering and resulting system developments.  

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Lead the development of, support and manage and implement the Ministry’s Local Government Reform Programme. Support the development of new projects and initiatives and identify emerging opportunities for Local Government transformation. Identify and develop relationships, ensuring regular engagement and coordination, with key strategic partners in the Ministry, government and civil society. 

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Change Management, Strategic Planning, and Programme Development in a large Public/Private Sector Organisation.

 

Training as evidenced by the possession of a recognized University Degree in Social Sciences or related field from an Accredited Institution. 

 

Knowledge of Public Sector systems and procedures would be an asset.
